Qualifying as a physiotherapist in 1995, I had already spentover twenty years participating in weight training, martial arts, mountain biking, serious trekking and sport in general, and therefore knew a great deal about injuries that active people can encounter.
For those of you that don't have a diagnosis of a specific condition but are finding everyday tasks/hobbies that you carry out to be problematic, then we recommend assessment to identify yourtreatment needs. In our experience we know that many people, for example those who have suffered a stroke or have a diagnosis of Parkinsons disease, want ongoing review and maintenance programmes which we are happy to provide.
