I trained as a chartered physiotherapist in 1992 from Birmingham University and completed a diploma in Sports Medicine from St Bartholomew's Hospital. I have worked in the NHS specialising in treating Musculo-Skeletal conditions and at present am working at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, where I use pilates in my day-to-day treatments.

I trained to become a Pilates instructor with the Australian Physiotherapy Pilates Institute (APPI) and completed my training in 2005. I started taking post-natal pilates classes over 5 years ago and also run evening pilates classes that cater for a wide range of ages and abilities.

As a phyiotherapist I am used to adapting the exercises to suit the individual's needs and abilities.
