I also work as an Occupational Health Physiotherapist at Nottingham Trent University and have previously worked in an Occupational Health role in a factory setting - keeping people at work orreturning them to work sooner. I am a firm advocate of evidence based practice and I am working towards an MSc in "Advancing Healthcare Practice" which focusses on research and evidence in improving healthcare outcomes.

Kate hails from South Africa where she completed her undergraduate degree and then worked for two years in a premier musculoskeletal practice. Wanting to work and travel more, she moved to Edinburghwhere she worked as a locum in the NHS. She then moved to the East Midlands when offered the job as the Senior Physio for Derbyshire County Cricket, where she worked for almost 4 years, travelling full time with the team, and also looking after the academy cricketers.
