Cathi worked in IT for many years before taking on a new challenge; working for the Rail industry (which meant weekends on the track, upgrading UK signalling systems!). She has always had an interestin holistic therapies and a fascination with how food affects the body. Whilst suffering with eczema and a bad back after falling from a horse, she started to research treatments and diets which would help.
Russell is extremely experienced and has worked at the clinic more than 25 years. He trained at West Middlesex University Hospital School of Physiotherapy, qualifying in 1984. He attends many courseswhich contribute to maintaining and increasing his knowledge and skills. Russell's particular interests include the treatment of back and neck pain, sports and soft tissue injuries, joint and MSK conditions.
This is the most commonly thought of area of physiotherapy. Our highly skilled and experienced physiotherapists assess and treat all injuries to joints, muscles and ligaments, including the spine.They have areas of special expertise including joint manipulation and acupuncture. There is a strong cross over between this and the Sports Division.

Initially she worked in London NHS Hospitals for 10 years before specialising into musculo-skeletal Physiotherapy. She spent some time working at sports centres developing her interest in thetreatment of sports injuries. She then worked closely with GPs in 3 different doctors' surgeries and also at a private hospital for 8 years. Merrow Physiotherapy & Sports Clinic was set up in 1999.
